巴布亚新几内亚附近海域发生7.0级地震
巴布亚纽几内亚的新不列颠（New Britain）地区海岸发生7.0强震，监测机构已发出海啸警报。
中国新闻社引述中国地震台网信息说，星期六（4月5日）6时04分（新加坡时间4时04分），在巴布亚新几内亚附近海域（南纬6.15度，东经151.65度）发生7.0级地震，震源深度20公里。
法新社引述美国太平洋海啸预警中心的公告说，此次浅层地震震源深度为10公里（6英里），预计将引发一至三米高的海啸。预计，邻近太平洋国家所罗门群岛的部分地区将出现高度不足0.3米的较小海啸。

This is especially significant for technology companies that may be viewed with suspicion on overseas stock exchanges.
